The globe silicone impeller other than being more temperature resistant will perform the same as a black rubber impeller. Now before everybody starts screaming no way read the whole story.
You can have the same pump housing used on different engines having different flow characteristics. The pressure and volume are determined by the design of the impeller. The same housing can have over a dozen different impellers that would fit. Same shaft hole and same impeller height but the hub diameter, overall diameter, vane size, vane thickness, vane shape and number of vanes can be different. When people have a problem with switching to silicone from rubber they need to put the rubber one that works alongside the silicone that doesn't work and see whats different. There is a lot of "well it fits so it should work" going on out there and guess what it doesn't always work.
