wasnt implying that it would bolt right in were a bravo WAS. but rather it may for some people it may be more of an offer at 700 hp than say a bravo package that has a 700 hp big block put in front of it.

In looking at the parts breakdown, it looks like the NXT transmission has the same cone clutch as a Bravo. Even retains one of the upper gears?
Very interesting as the cone clutch was always one of the big failure points on a Bravo.

Part #'s are different than say an XR.
I would imagine they beefed it up.
It looks like they just rotated the components 90*.
The top gear is now the fwd gear/input , the pinion is a idler
and the bottom gear is the reverse gear.

Can you elaborate on the misadjusted cables a little more please. My port side motor seems to clunk a little when shifting into reverse. I was planning on a rebuild this winter, but the starboard side locked up in forward this weekend during the Lake Cumberland Poker Run. I suppose it could be a drive issue, but I'm suspecting the trans. Thanks.

Hard to get out of forward
Yes, con you elaborate about sticking in gear with misadjusted cables. One is smooth as silk and other is hard to get out of forward. Started at about 25 hours on them. In service now.
