My wife and I went to the Toronto Boat show yesterday and visited our Marina's booth . Asked how things were and if our neighbors were returning for the 2008 season . The young guys said it has been a tough winter we have lost 3 boaters heart attaches , cancer . These friends were only in their 40s and 50s . Made me think how important it is to enjoy our lives boating or whatever interests you have . Talked with one guy from the Marina today and he explained to me how each one of us has only so many saturdays left . And he is going to not put off buying that new boat . Good for him .

Yes, life is way too short. Friday we went to a friends fathers funeral, 67 yrs old just retired.... while we were at the funeral, one of my boating friends passed away also. He just turned 50.
Rip it up kids, this aint practice.
