Boat show prices are normally pretty tight. Depending on dealer, sometimes a boat show will represent 70 to 80 % of their annual sales.

I think I talked to you at the Annapolis Show. Did you get rid of your Sonic? Let me know what you want and I will see what I can do for you.

Default Look out for No. 1

Bottom line is no one selling a boat is looking to make sure you get a good deal. I am not saying they are bad people. They are like anyone else in business to sell things and that is to make sure they maximize their profit.

Boats keep their value less than most products. So whatever you pay, be prepared to get 50% or less for the boat when you go to sell it (in a year or so). This may not be the case for all boats, but if it is a production/semi-production boat it will not be worth anywhere near what it was as new.

Caveat Emptor........Buyer Beware.

Sorry if this seems too basic but you should get the best deal you are comfortable with and enjoy the boat......otherwise walk away and look for the deal you can be comfortable with.
