Thanks everyone for the input. Looks as if I need to take a serious look at AT. I think price will keep me out of an AT though. One thing I failed to mention is that I boat on Lakes and rivers all of the time so 1-2 footers are about all I have to deal with (with the exception of an occasional 6' cruiser wake). I don't think I can go wrong with any of the 3 in terms of ride. The Nordic now has me a little scared because several people here have called it a West Coast boat. At resale, I don't want to limit myself to WC buyers.

As a happy Nordic 35 owner here's my opinion.
You'll be happy with either boat.
For years I have told people buying big performance
boats that there is a lot to be said about buying from
a manufacturer located close to you geographically.
I live in Arizona so owning a Nordic made sense.
It's very helpful to have access to the manufacturer to
repair the usual seasonal dings, dents and other crap
that happens to everyones boat.

Our 35 Flame has a microwave, topload fridge, sink with 25 gallon water tank, head w/ a porta potti, (Much easier than a pumpout head in my opinion) powerbolsters, trim switch on the transom, (very handy when flushing the motors),a DEEP cockpit. I think those features compare well to a formula, except it's alot faster I have run our Nordic in the Atlantic, 3-5s and had no compliants.
Bottom line, you probobly need to take each out for a sea-trial and see which one is best for your boating needs.
BTW, we looked REAL hard @ 2001 353 Fastec, (with 500EFIs), before we bought our Nordic. The deciding factor for us was the speed difference, that being the Nordic was faster with 502 MPIs that are stock!
good luck and have fun.

I have an 03 353 with 109 hrs.loaded with enclosure, cockpit cover and full mooring cover, with trailer for sale. And I have seen 82mph on GPS with the 500 efi's PM if intrested. I absoloutely love this boat but I don't have time to use it.And yes I have admired the AT's and the nordics as well.
