They had to modify them as the rigging fell apart!

The hull is great, but everything attached to the hull is attached in a less than desirable manner.

http://harleypowerboats.com/ Note not a Howard Harley Site.

http://harleyshipbuilding.net/ Some of Howard's other ideas.

I think Harley boats have been ahead of their time and nothing corresponding is available during this time, though there is a growing demand boats, which would be economical and fast enough.

Imagine if you will, a Singapore dingy with a engine on the back connected to a shaft.

When Howard told me of this I could not stop laughing.

Do you know of any air cooled diesel engines? He mentioned a light weight diesel and this arrangement.

He could not produce a picture of it, has not shown it off yet and he mentioned it would cost less than an outboard complete with engine???

Now I have tossed extra baht at a thai water taxi driver to race with my buddies riding in the other ones. Last one to the bar & boom boom house buys the first round. Wonder when leila is gonna become the dealer for Harley's drives. Air cooled diesel? Only ones I can think of is Deutz.

I was afraid someone was going to say BMW motorcycle. They've bound to have made a diesel bike engine?

The world needs people like Howard Harley. It makes life more enjoyable.

I'm bored with it now. I'm usually not happy unless I have too many irons in the fire. I found another project that I think I have to have. I really need to get a life and quit buying these things. But I enjoy working on them as much as most people do running them. This boat really is ready to go. Just needs a new owner. Price is very flexible!!
