Docking in South Beach?
We are towing down a 17ft Center Console down for the boat show to play on there and in the keys. We would like to tie it up somewhere in south beach for a few days any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is there still a Monty's in coconut grove? Might help to identify which Monty's?
There's a marina just north of the Venetian Causeway on the SoBe side. Public boat ramp right there also. There's also a couple clubs on Watson Island, but you'd probably have to make friendly with a member to see if you could sneak in there. Depending on where you're staying and where you want to keep the boat, maybe throw an ad on Craigslist to see if a home/condo owner with unused space could hook you up. Maybe Shaq could spare some room at his place?

Monty's in south beach only allows 3 hours or so of docking for the bar, and it totally depends on space available, which gets tight on weekends. It is at the miami beach marina. You can call them (miami beach marina), at 305 673 6000 and reserve a spot in a slip if they have one. If you call soon enough, they will probably accommodate you. They actually give you a slip. You can then walk to south beach, take a $6 cab ride to anywhere in sobe, including the convention center.
