PMI show in Vegas postponed...
Probably old news but I noticed the banner ad was still up here and couldn't find any confirmation until I found this:
Las Vegas, NV…… ConvExx announced the postponement of the Performance Marine Industry Expo which was scheduled for Las Vegas in April, 2008. The show will now take place in Las Vegas in 2009 (exact dates to be announced later).
Chuck Schwartz, Chairman of ConvExx, remarked, “We feel strongly that there is a need for a performance-only event in the marine industry. PMIE will be THE place for performance marine boat builders, manufacturers, and enthusiasts to come together and see new products, share interests and build a voice for the industry.”
Schwartz continued, “We are continuing to discuss the activities and show design with many of the major performance boat builders and manufacturers in the performance marine industry. As the event develops, there will be information on our website at www.PMIExpo.com . We hope to announce dates and a Las Vegas venue shortly.”
