Check out these bad boys on ebay. I'm not in the market, but they are definitely "old-school bad-a$$"...

With EFI, they shouldn't be as fussy at things were 30 years ago. I can't afford to give up the sunpad space by cutting the required clearance holes...
I was just remembering the sound of the "true" Can-Am cars at idle in the 70's, and these engines got my attention. There was almost as much intake noise from those giant trumpets as there was exhaust noise.
Imagine that kind of power in a 1500 lb car - Tyler Alexander, Peter Revson, and the McLaren M20 in 1972:
