Exactly. The majority of the time your only making 10 percent sometimes 5 percent on items. If the consumer only knew the other side of the story.

You hit those numbers right on the head. I'll be happy to show them the EXPENSE side of the ledger. But I'm not complaining I am my own boss.

I make a profit on about every 4th customer and even then it is not much, because the internet has almost as low as dealer cost advertised. By the time you ad in freight, it is more than advertised on the net.

Oh, well, if it was easy, anyone could do it.

That's my point......... A 20 percent margin is a fair price when you can do it. .........the key word is WHEN .

In some cases, I would assume that 100% margin would be OK.

By the way, the shell station down the street from my house has the gas pumps screwed up and they are pumping premium at 2.49. I am not sure how long it will take them to catch it, but there are power boats filling up in the rain right now.
