That's right I now remember seeing the Pachanga's and the Regal Velocity's with them. I like my thru transom better. All the ones I have seen out the side on the boats we're talking about (ie. not race boats) had mufflers on them. My friend took his off and he said it was too loud so he put them back on. I didn't know him then but I imagine I would have like it without.

I know that the newer Rinkers also have them. I my honest opinion though, when you are next to the boat the exhaust sounds wrong. I believe that it's because you are only hearing half of the exhaust pulses.
