Default looking for some advice on buying a boat - fountain , formula 35

first let me start off by saying this is an awesome site , about 2 years ago i bought a small outboard cat on here and i came back here to look for another boat

i want to get a V bottom about 35 foot . i am thinking of a 35 or 38 fountain or maybe a 35 foot formula fastech. i will be going with mild power like either 502's 500 efi's or 496 ho's

i see a 35 formula fastech that i like and it has the 502's 415hp

the boat looks like a good deal but i think it may be a bit too slow for me , what can i do to those motors fore more performance ? heads , headers ? i want some suggestions

i have a bunch of other questions about some of the fountains i like as well , but i dont want to ask too many questions all at once so ill start with the least expensive boat i have in mind

thanks in advance

gary

Thumbs up

Get a boat with 500EFI or 525EFI, then you won't have to do any work and the boat will always be worth more with blue motors.
