No Shoes and a red Fattowel (the cocktail sauce for the shrimp doesn't stain it when the drunks trip).

Blower/Race hatch. Don't have to worry about the stiching but it does get very slick. Wife found a couple of really cool bathroom carpets that match the boat. Thay have rubber backing and dont slide or hurt the paint.

looks like shoes on a candy red paint job

Simple solution. Get a couple of blower motors, and an engine hatch with a hood scoops. There, nothing to re-upholster!

BINGO! We have a winner!

My experience with towels is that they aren't worth a cr@p on either vinyl or paint. One step that isn't square, and you'll slide right off at high speed, usually into the props. The bathmats are heavy enough that it takes a pretty big wind to move them, the rubber backing gets great grip on any surface (think about their primary-design use...) and you can find any size, shape and color you want between Target, Walmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Hands-down the best choice.

I just bought a real nice 24"x60" "Masterpiece" bathroom rug @ JC Penny for $35. It is red to match the boat and has a non-slip rubber back. Being I don't have a sunpad, just really well waxed fiberglass, I figured this was a must have for the poker runs. Plus it will protect the 'glass from the rogue shoe wearer.
