Not alot of control coming down river with a 5 knot current and a tug that can push 6 knots.A very lucky master.was that a heavy rain flow or just the area? i dont think I would have wanted to be in his shoes that day! Great pics, Mark B.

I've always been impressed at how heavy-duty those river barges were built, but never guessed it would take that. Glad someone got some shot. It would be difficult to back that story up without them.

If i was the captain i would have played it cool like i planed it. Yelling at everyone to get the bardge hooked back up. then when back under way ask casually (are there any other bridges ahead?)
