This is part of the old fort on Egmont Key built for the Spanish American war. Parts of the Fort are in the gulf now from the island shifting over the years. It is fun to snorkel around it. At the mouth of Tampa Bay.

Lets see where you boat
We boat on the muddy Mississippi, on the Alton Pool in St. Charles County. And the guy fondeling my swim platform is the official in charge of maintaining the pool level on the river.

Why, the Great Lakes, of course!
Since I live on this conveniently located peninsula, I believe it's my duty to boat on as many of the Great Lakes as possible, BUT... Superior has got to be the favorite, nothing like sitting back with a cold brew and checking out the Pictured Rocks!
