Turbo I just purchased a set of 350 BBC Canfield's, have you done any of those yet, and if so what kind of flow numbers did you get out of the box and worked.

I talked with JimV about those Canfield heads he's got in his shop. I stood and watched him as he flowed them right "out-of-the-box" on his Super Flo 600 air flow bench. He installed some valves in the heads withOUT a valve job on the seats (fair or not) just to say that he flowed them "out of the box" and then he did a competition valve grind on the seats and flowed them again with ONLY the competition valve grind....um, ----well, He DID say that they are thick/beefy heads, BUT they didn't even come close to the numbers that Canfield is advertising, but JimV is the expert----I'll let him elaborate on it from here.

Ran some 310's on some 502's I did a few years ago. Out of the box with a hyd roller/9.5:1 made 620 on KE's dyno. Last I heard they were still doing well.
