Do they sell the 525, #6 drive as a package?

The Bravo is full of fluid which covers all of the components, the dry sump 6 is not because it has a pump that sprays the gears. It's probably about the same for the two as far as HP loss (about 35 HP). The wet sump #6 robs about 100HP because it's filled with 5 gallons of lube as opposed to about 3.5 quarts in the dry sump. I talked to a Merc engineer about it when I got my boat and that's what he told me.

to achieve those kind of numbers you also need to run a crash box instead of a tranny if im not mistaken.
