Good stuff, looks like you are headed in the right direction. A good tune can go a long ways, from my experience. I tired doing stuff myself, it ended up that I was running too rich and he wiped the rings out.

Hey Mike, I have been running Prochargers since the begining of time. Pull the motor and put it on the dyno, even a mild set up can torch your pistons or wash out your cylinders. Tuned right I have gotten 3-4 years out of the motors before freshening them. we got 950hp out of 540's and they were pretty explosive. 680hp on a 502 is pretty tame.Do it right and have fun running your boat. Good Luck, Louie

With a innercooler (I asume it has a 324 innercooler) you can run as much as 6 psi boost. Spend the coin on a good set up carb from nickerson. You should be able to make somewhere in the high 600's range on premium. Your boat should run in the mid to high 70's,full hyd steering should be a must if your boat already gets a little squirelly,Smitty

As far as drives my stock 2000 std bravo held up well to6 psi of boost on my 502 I used to have and a 26 pitch prop,as soon as I started trying to swing a 28 pitch prop and 7-8 psi of boost I almost immediately broke the floor out of a upper gear,Smitty
