No I do not believe they are done driving every last bit of economy out of Grand Haven. The Sheriff has seemed to be a little more laxed compared to last year, but a lot of the damage was done last summer.

The state of Western Michigan's economy is of no concern to the Sheriff's Deputies. They are under a very deliberate directive from the Ottawa County Sheriff to put and end to the loud offshore boats, and the loud partying. This has come from the local home owners associations who have put pressure on the department. This is just a fact, though many would agree its like moving next to a train tracks, and then *****ing about the train. The "lifestyle" that has been enjoyed out in Holland, Sausage, and GH, I can remember back thirty years ago when I was a kid with my parents and their friends. The people that now occupy the zillion dollar houses, just want to enjoy their quiet lake home. The fun as we once new it is over for good I hate to say. No more fully nude Girls Gone Wild contests.

Boat is a WEMET Enforcement seizure from the 57th. I can't go into too much detail, but at this time there is no intention of using the vessal for Marine Enforcement.
