This boat is charging hammers down into 25+ foot seas. I don't see an Apache doing that! /ducks and runs

I have seen him jump (we were running along in our Tiger) in Florida off of South Beach the wave of a 70' Sport fisherman, he was without a doubt at least 20' feet in the air running about 75 mph. I would not of tried that with anything built lightweight for speed on 2" chop these days, my guess is a lot of them would of folded in half.

Just my humble opinion.
I take it you have no pics?

I would put the strength of a well built carbon fiber and epoxy boat against any resin bucket any day.

strength yes, I agree......ride no..I will take a resin infused, bagged, carbon in certain areas with a good layup.. I prefer the softer landing using the extra weight. Good example.. my 43NT was 13800, and I liked the way that boat ran in the rough stuff.. now, I have not been on the 44 OL, will someday, and then possibly will change my opinion.

And our 5000lb 27 kryptonite will spank our all of 6000lb 27 avanti in rough water..even on the race course. Although for cruising I think id have to agree with you
