I always keep a full face helmet for running in the rain, a little rainex on the visor and you are good to go.

Could be. We had a 28' Batboat (err - lawndart) at JOTJ and we were at the front of the second group at the first card stop. We even had a vintage 1997 bottle of Volvo Penta-supplied RainX onboard. That stuff is so slippery that, as soon as we applied it to the windshield, the boat started straining against the docklines...

I've also seen test data that indicate boats painted with lightning bolt graphics are 6.7% faster than boats without engines......... in 76.4% of the samples.

By the way, 1997 was one of the better vintages of RainX, but a good bottle of 1984 is still rated highest per Plastic Snob magazine.

Default Nor Tech !

I am going to have to say Nor Tech on this one. The following is not my quote but OSO Expat's on our arrival in the BVI last month.

Don't let them kid you. They came through some of the worse weather I have seen here in a long time. Major squalls. No visibility. Nasty. Very few people could navigate a boat through that to a place they have never been. My hat's off to them.

We will be drinking Painkillers all weekend to that. We need an excuse.

db

Jay in particular enjoyed the " Painkillers" LOL
