That boat has been for sale for approximately 6 months....and is a sister ship to ours.
It is a true race hull from back in the day.
Any wing that is 40 years old, like that one will need some professional TLC. You will also need to factor in a couple of period correct Merc inline 6's (or OMC V-4 race engines). The hull will be welcome at Vintage regattas all over the U.S. and Canada.
It will take a fairly experienced (in racing hulls under 20 feet) driver........ and the bad news.
The 20 footer has a more pronounced tendency to "lope" at speeds up to 50 mph, than the older design 18 footer (see picture below), so it will take more time to balance and setup...( I am speaking from current experience). The hull will see upwards of 100 mph with twin 125 hp OB's or more......( Mine has twin 375's)
As far as the price.....They ain't making any more and there are only 12-14 in existence..so the value is whatever the market will bear. In the short term the price seems a bit high. In the long term....... the skies the limit IMHO.
