I'm not fighting with this site any longer today. Extremely frustrating.

Who are the Web Devs for this site and is it really sitting on Internetbrands Servers?

First of all, the current Web Devs should have never told people to run Firefox to solve all the slow problems.

#1 ... That won't make a difference if its being hosted on a slow pipe.

#2 of all ... They may have "written it" to be more optimised with Firefox but should also make sure there are no ie issues.

#3 95% of Home users use ie. They are not going to switch browsers for 1 Website and their is NO reason they should have to. Someone obviously has somthing to learn about customer service. If this was a 500 Million Dollar eComerce site, it would be sitting with WaMu right now.

So what now? Well, This site needs to be hosted somwhere else with super fast servers sitting on a huge pipe.

I have a team of Web Devs that can make that happen within a price range that is problably cheaper than they are paying now.

Someone get a hold of me. Let me know what storage requirements are needed, estimated bandwidth used and what they are paying Internetbrands. I'll let you know what we can do.

Its time to speed some stuff up tremendesly. As was said before .. this is offshoreonly.com, isn't it susposed to be fast?

IB is a pretty major aggregator of internet community sites. The have serious money and an Ivy League CTO. If they were remotely interested in site performance, they'd have done something by now.

Maybe we should give it a few more months?

They could be busy with NewPuppy.com.

How embarrasing to be the largest player in forums and have a forum that you paid good money for turn into a place where people discuss how incredibly incompetent you are.
