Is it possible that the most expensive gas in the country is on the water in Austin?
How about those gas prices on the water? I was hoping someone in Austin would chime in with the best Marina to get gas. It used to be the Marina way back in the back of Sandy Creek always had the cheapest gas prices. But, the ones I've checked seem about the same.
Is it possible that the most expensive gas in the country is on the water in Austin Texas at $5.49 per gallon???
And I didn't even get a kiss first.

Hey Brent. I am friends with Tony Bowman the owner of Liquor Box. His Searay holds 1000 gallons. He keeps it at Emeral Point Marina. He hires a gasoline tanker truck to drive to the water and he fills up.
If you are interested, give me a call.

P.S. Congrats on the 400ss. That's very nice boat!

Whatcha say we go a big group buy of gasoline -- on a tanker truck -- find a convenient place to raft-up near a shoreline, and one-by-one all fill up?
I'll take 90 gallons.

I have not been to the corner exxon in the last two weeks but last time I saw them they were only about 50 cents higher then the other stations. The 5.50 is the reason I keep my trailer at the lake. When I get real low, I trailer the boat, then go and fil up. Save me about $150.00

4.64 last weekend in Fort Myers Beach for Mid-Grade and that would be the cheapest on the water for the area. At the same time, the avg price for the stations on land was about 3.80 or so.
The highest we saw on the water this year was a bit over $5 and that was when mid-grade on land was over $4.

Clay or anyone. I am certainly in for the group buy or to get some from a tanker is Tony is filling up. My # is 210.887.1766. Thanks guys.
jimishooch thank you for the tip on Briarcliff. I'll definitely try there next. It still sounds high but not nearly as bad as Emerald Point.
Brent
(I just had to dump $600 worth of gas because I had a bunch of water in one of the tanks. Hopefully the boat will be ready for this weekend. If she is she will be thirsty.)
