Be sure to keep the harsh cleaners away from the stitching and dilute as soon as possible. You do not want to weaken the thread.

Daredevil, you got me. I spent too much time reading threads and got lazy. I did read your suggestion about Mineral Spirits some time ago, I was just worried it would be too harsh. I'll give it a try and let you know... thanks.
Griff- I'm trying to stay away from bleach and products that contain bleach (as mentioned in previous posts). I believe out here in AZ I have to try to do everything possible to keep the vinyl "barrier" in tact and protected from drying out/UV rays.
