I agree: MDF + Boat = bad news
MDF will suck up moisture. I did some high/medium end car audio work after college and MDF and moisture do not mix. Even a drop of water will expand the MDF and deform it.
Isn't Will's shop moving to Miami?
Either way, great that Charlie and Sunsation had the TV time.

Very true but it is easy to work with & it is cheap...when I put the system in my boat I built my sub enclosure out of MFD then coated everything (inside and out) with fiberglass resin. As long as you get eveything covered really well there souldn't be a problem plus it will sound better. That being said I wouldn't use it on anything other than a speaker box, starboard or something like that will work better and last longer. my .02
