I don't see why all of us "out of staters" can't use the same letter that 27 Fountain is using. It sounds good to me! If this is happening in SC, it will just spread across the country and before you know it the oceans will be regulated to!! Politicians, sometimes like this, what would we do without these pieces of _ _ _ _ !

Luvoffshore,

Please do, that was one of the reasons I posted my letter. It only took me a minute. We currently fight this almost every summer here on SML in VA. Trust me its only a matter of time until, a group wants the same on everyones watering hole.

Luvoffshore,
You are absolutely right! We all need to be concerned about this! That's why we have Pete Coen with Mercury Racing involved as well as someone from Wellcraft/Genmar. We have also contacted the people at PowerBoat and HotBoat Magazine. The more people we get involved the greater the chance we can keep this from happening in other states.
Please feel free to give me your fax number and I will fax you the letter that we have been sending to the SC Senate. Or you can get the e-mail addresses from Jan's post at the beginning of this thread.

Thanks again!

Luvoffshore, and anyone on the OSO board please email these Senators. That is the reason I posted the link to this very scary Bill 835 and the Fish Game and Forestry Committee members email.

Alright, everyone!
It's time to flood the e-mails and the fax machines of the SC senators! Kenneth, myself and a few others are going to the subcommittee meeting tomorrow at 11 AM! We are hoping that with the info we're giving them, we will be able to get them to stop (or atleast postpone) passing this bill! I hope we will come back with good news!
Wish us luck!

Thumbs up i COULD BE WRONG BUT....

I just got off the phone with one of my Anderson buddies and I heard all positive news for the THRU TRANSOM boys and girls!! I could be wrong but I don't see a chance in hell of this bill passing from what I heard from my buddy who knows a lot of high end people in Anderson county. Time will tell.

Letters are in-the-mail.

Cathy.........Good luck tomorrow! (When you look at the actual bill, they want to turn the lakes into the "Stepford Pontoon Fleet")
