Default To do list for southern Florida...any advice?

We leave Friday for Key Largo. So far the agenda reads as follows:

1. Arrive
2. Throw coats in the garbage
3. Get to the townhouse
4. Relax, drink and get sunburned

Anything else worth doing? Where is Thunderboat row? Within driving distance? Any and all constructive or destructive advice appreciated

Thunderboat Row is on NE 188St. in N. Miami Beach, right off of US 1. It is within driving distance of key Largo, a few hours, besides, if you are in any part of South Florida, there are only three places to go, South Beach, South Beach and South Beach. Enjoy!!!

Go to Snooks for drinks outside and watch the sunset.
Go to Snappers to the outside bar and get some fish from Mary, the barkeep and feed the 70 pound tarpon that hang out around the dock.
Go down (20mi) to Holiday Isle on Sun afternoon and drink frozen drinks and watch all the people out at the sandbar rafted up.
Watchout for a white and red Fountain named ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT running out of Blackwater Sound.
Have a good time, I here the weather is pretty good down there right now.
Enjoy

Alabama Jacks on Card Sound road Sunday afternoon, don't forget to bring your Harley. Sundowners for the sunset. Gilberts for a burger and watch the boats go by. 188 St is one hour and fifteen minutes from Largo.

Where is Big Pine Key in relation to Largo ? I Was there a few years ago to bring a boat back for a guy . Seams Like it took a lot longer then that to get to Miami . Maybe it was the 2 head on accidents we waited for to clear up !

Go to Thunderboat Row, and stop in at TnT Marine. Introduce yourself to RiverGirl(Michelle), BoardGod#2(Steve), and Anna.
(Cigarette Factory is right next door.)

Take good care of them and bring them gifts, and they will take care of you!

Take a drive down The Auto Toy Store strip of Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale.
Stop by the Sonic Factory in Hollywood.
Stop by the Active Thunder Factory in Pompano.
Stop by the Pantera Factory.

Take lots of pictures and HAVE FUN!

Big Pine Key is about 60 miles southwest of Key Largo. Farther down than Marathon. Yea if there's a wreck on US 1 your screwed.

Cool lunch in Bimini

If you are short a sportboat you can contactCRAZY GREG and he will run you over to the island of Bimini for the day in his Sonic for lunch and cocktails and have you back by dusk
