A Ventura County man who prosecutors say is a County firefighter is facing 7 counts of child molestation. 41-year-old Gary Taylor of Newbury Park was in court briefly on Monday afternoon, but did not enter a plea. His arraignment was continued until Thursday. Taylor's bail was raised to $1 million and he remains in the Ventura County Jail. He stand accused of molesting a young girl over a long period of time until she was 13 years old. The alleged incidents were reportedly back in 2000, but he is just now being charged. If convicted, Taylor could face up to 30 years in state prison.

Wow Is this the same guy that owns TPI Performance and has that 28ft orange Howard Bullet for sale that ran 100+ mph on one of his single built motors. He was a fireman and had a really good name for building EFI marine motors. He seemed to be a straight up guy. You really never know about people anymore.

Due process-
Due process with determine which if any charges stick, and what is their severity. In most cases the DA will overcharge and bring them down, or alter them one by one as a story unfolds.
I agree if hes proven guilty as charged he should go away a looong time.
However if hes wrongly accused and the molestation breaks down to thinks like peeing off the transom of a boat (also called indecent exposure, and can be trumped up if in the presence of a minor) then the whole story changes radically.
We just have to hear the story and see- without the knowledge of whats really occuring we cant judge guy.
Remember this story of those horrible men that molested that young innocent underage girl/minor repeatedly that that got off scott free?
The story ceased being horrible when all the facts were uncovered and the correct name was filled in the "blank" <remember-Traci Lords anybody? > Im not saying these are the same, just saying that we don't know what we dont know- yet.
If its a setup should wrongful accusers go away for life?
Lets let the law do its job and see.
