How is the water level in Lake St Clair? I was there a couple years ago and it was LOW! Sand bars in front of one of the restaurants in Harrison Twnship!
Has it gotten any better?

The sandbars are no problem , just don't hit them
The place you are talking about it Garwood's, yes the sandbar is still there but you can still get to the bar ,just take the back way in.
Diveboy,
The insurance company paid him everything he wanted. It was a Sunsation also.

Hey Sparky ,
how are you doing ? I didn't get a chance to talk
to you too much at the last OSO meeting. Are you
getting Milord all hooked up ? I found some 425+hp small blocks for his boat. Lenny is going through them right now, the owner of the motors want a set of stock power and some cash so it should work out good for him.
Have fun on the water Saturday. I will be driving up to Ubly to pick my boat up that day.
Take it easy.

The water's not that bad, it just forces you to look at the charts a little closer. I am suprised I haven't seen anyone beach "at speed" out near middle channel. The couple of spots there could be pretty treacherous, but it's probably safer now that the one is exposed. We do need to come up with a date for the next get together. I've got a weddding I need to respond to for the 21st and I need a good excuse to reply "Ooo, hmmm... we've got plans that day" (or we're out of town, or something).

We're currently boatless, but the Admiral is talking about getting a new ride - I was thinking of waiting a year, but she's talking maybe this year - gotta love that woman.
Only one problem - we're looking at getting a cruiser Will you guys still talk to me? I'll have lots of room for boat soda and a real sit-down head for the ladies
