I'm just abouy to put mine back in (I'll post pics soon). My boat is white with lime green and purple stripes, so I painted the blocks, heads and intakes lime green. everything else (valve covers, pulleys, exhaust, brackets, power steering pumps and oil coolers) I had powder coated purple. Left the flame arestors and risers stainless. Bilge is white. looks VERY cool, and didn't cost that much. I also replaced al the faseners with new stainless ones (cost less than $50.00) just to totaly clean it up. Good luck. Be waiting for your pics when your done.

Madcow I'm glad to see that someone has the balls to use lime green. I had a Cuda that color and have liked it ever since. You have to post some pics of the motor.

I'd post a pic of mine, but why would you want to see an empty engine bay?

I went with simple bright white. (Sterling in this case.) Makes it nice and bright in there when you're trying to find the %#@*&!! screwdriver bit that you dropped....

WOW! Those are some clean ass engine boxes...the Coast Guard must love you guys!
What do you guys use to clean them...I find that SoftScrub works but its too much Scrubing for me.

Back4More, SprayNine or GrezOff usually works nice.
