New World motor 540 H.P. for $7495.00 BUT...
Checked out the World 540 engine in my Summit catalog. Price is $7495.00 + shipping. Not a bad price for 540 horsepower BUT it says " Not for marine use " in the ad. Is it still ok to use in your boat ? anybody tried it ? Why does it say this ?

Stay away from these engines in marine use. They are built with cheap chinese parts and don't work well at all. They have discontinued their marine program. I found a shop in New Orleans that seems to be doing great things, there prices are great too. Check them out. Total Marine and Performance 985-649-9888.
