Shipping a motor
What is the best way to ship a motor cross country? It's in a wooden box on a pallet. Will need to be picked up. A hi-low will load it. Can be picked up at a terminal or delivered to a business w/ a hi-low. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not quite certain what the question is? Are you looking for a trucker to move the motor, or do you have a question regarding packaging/skidding the motor. E-mail me at [email protected] and I can help you with the trucking aspect... I'm an international freight forwarder, and I deal with the major U.S. trucking companies everyday.

I restore and sell vintage dirtbikes through ebay. We have shipped them all over the country and we have found Forward Air to be the cheapest and also the most reliable carrier around. The only drawback is that the frieght has to be picked up at thier terminal. The upside is they have a terminal near almost every major ariport in the US. Look up www.forwardair.com for a terminal near you.
I can`t recommend them enough!
Good luck, Kurt.
