Blown 3 IMCO Drives, Hows the BMAX
I have a 1998 29' Fountain Single 540 blown "Big Ponies". I have a knack of blowing up drives, 3 IMCO Extreme's last season. "Per usual I'M Clueless" . I run mostly on a river with waves 1' or less and the boat is in the water, well at least most of the time. I have a Plumed in water dump from the raw water pump shower and a external shower, my drive temp gauge never in the red, and run full synthetic oil. What do you think about the B'Max Drive???????

First off , what is your definition of "big ponies" and do you use that left arm to throttle ?
I've seen over 700hp in front of a stock Bravo and that lived thru a few Poker runs.
My own stock Bravo lived for 40hrs and 2 poker runs behind 670hp.
I'm sure your blown 540 makes a ton of torque but those Imco Extremes are supposed to handle quite a
bit.

Well, keep us posted on the Extreme SC. They say it's stronger, but you are definitely pushin' the max! It's on my wish list, want to know how they are holding up. There is no way I can afford to go through 3 drives in one season!

B-Max makes a great drive. HTM used one to drag race and put over1200hp through it. I have a friend who has had one for 1 season and put 1100 - 1200hp through it with no failures.
