I was just thinking about you Glassdave!

Remember the canopy comment on the little boat?
It turns out that's what these guys are racing these days in Formula Vee.......

It's good to hear from ya Steve!

It's been awhile......

I've been working this SOB thing like 24/7 with DPT Motorsports.

Hopefully now it will all payoff for everyone that wants to go racing Single Outboard Boats.

I saw the 32 today! Wait until you hear what this artist is capable of.

I will be shooting more pics next week. They will be putting the final clear coats on by then.

I hope I will be able to get a close-up on what I am talking about. I pointed something out to the builder today that he didn't know was on the boat. I am wondering if the owner knows as well.

This artist has hidden art in the paint...
When I post the pics, I will explain.......

Thanks RT!

This finished paint work should be this week. I believe all the graphics are done. They are now putting on all the clear coats. The owner doesn't want to feel any lines between colors. A real fanatic. "Not that there is anything wrong with that."

With what I have seen so far, it wouldn't surpise me if the artist blends some sort of design into the clear as well....... This guy has some magic with paint!!!

He did a motorcycle that had 50 skulls on it. The trick was, you could never seem them all at the same time. As you move around the bike, the skulls would keep popping up and disappearing. I guess it is a 3-D effect or Prism???
Has me confused on how he does it.....

The air duct in the bow of the boat...Wait until you see the depth he put into that with paint. It changed the whole look of the duct. Making it look longer then it is with shadows and air brushing.

Now I saw this all with sanded clear coat. I know once it is all brought to a high gloss, it will bring everything out they way the artist intended it to be...
I can't wait...........
