One of my friends runs one on lake st clair, I think it's an 88, but it's nice and solid still and he runs (I think) 575 horse 502's and trs drives at 80-85 I think, it's a bit dated, in the interior department but from another boat it looks just like any other fountian. He bought his without drives and motors and put it together. Like anything, it depends on how it was taken care of. He runs thru lake erie to put in bay and the boat holds its own just fine. If the price is right and it's in good condition it is definitely one of the boats I'd look for in that year range. He did hook it in a turn last year, but he said he was turning real hard when it hooked, but that was the first time that ever happened and he's had it for 4 or 5 years that I know of, no damage or injurys, but a definite eye opener. It just re-assures the "be smart and safe" mentallity we all need to follow.

A friend of mine just sold his 1990 33'er . It was a nice boat . They do cheat you on the size ! It will fit on a trailer for a real 29'er ! But it was a very nice boat ! Real easy to get around with and light to tow . It just made 70mph with 454 mags and bravos , and 23'' mirage props . Was prety good on gas too .

I had an 89 10M ICBM and it was a really tough boat. I used it in the ocean and it had no stress cracks and was very fast for mild power. It was a rough riding boat in heavy seas. It really liked running flat out, cruising speed seemed to be inefficient and dragged it`s ass.

How much is the asking price??? and what power?

Kurt.
