Doug scan one of them dyno pulls and post it for the doubters.
We did take a video on the first day we dynoed, but it only made 1295 the first day, not much to see there. Doug was wanting to wait until we maxed the combo before stating anything, but I figure anything over 1400 is decent enough
Keith ask your buddy with the delaminator that circled around, that was the only boat we saw wanting to run. He tried to blow past us with about a 50 mph run from behind. I dont think he ever got close enough to read the transom lettering.
I hope your boat has at least 60 mph on him. I know we did
I want you to agree to post the video after the run
There will be a beer and a handshake, but only one TOP CAT

I'm glad to see this thread heating up again.... thought it was over for a while .... at least the showdown would be somthing we could all look at!
When are these engines going to get off the dyno and into a boat, so you can show all of us they'll live for hours on end? ... just sayin nice #s and all, but I wanna see how/if they hold up.

We have identical engines in the motion, and another pair in the spectre that sold a few years ago, zero mechanical issues.
had those in a previous 35 motion starting back to 2001.
and trust me as many times as they have been pulled on the dyno we would have found a weak link !!!!!
A dyno is not very forgiving as some already know

Also would like to add that me and Shawn or his dad have no problems between us!! Received a few PMs that made me feel like some might be getting that impression. This is suppose to be fun and and hang out with other performance boaters who have the same passion.
There's enough bullchit going on in the news to turn this into a soap opera. The more I think about it maybe Royal Purple can include some side by side runs at the last stop. I for one will have my entire family with me and would probably put out any unnecessary riders if im going to hang this biotch out.

I have a copy of one of the pulls from last month, who can I fax it to with the ability to scan and post???
Not exposing any pertinant info Doug, this ones about halfway thru the tuning process.
Absolutely no ill feelings, all good fun and make it interesting. I think maybe friday before the run, we dont do all the stops, mostly ride a bit and hang out. Doug wants to ride and get a taste of them motors
