Default Father vs. son- Same fountain HELP!!

I just bought a 1999 35' fountain w/500h.h.p.- my Dad has a 1996 35'fountain w/same motors- He has always had the faster boat then mine-Ok what can I do w/out superchargers to make it run max speed-Best props? any insight would be helpful- I can always take him in the rough water he gets scared there ha ha.

As long as dad has more money than you do he will alway's be faster. A time tested fact !!! Just my .02

Buy a 1997 HAHA

OK seriously, check all your settings, drive location, tabs, alignment, make sure it is all correct.

Make sure you are on the rev limiters for the motors, and play with the props. Like send them off to BBlades or similar to be sharpened.

Oh did I mention, if its not bolted down in the boat get rid of it, seriously, bed, cushins, anchor, wives, >>>and lastly, only keep 1/4 fuel in your boat and race him the next time he fills up

get some -2" shorter lower's with some 5 blade Herring props

28 labbed bravos ran the best on my '99 35 w/hp 500, but I did have -2 lowers

I heard 28 Hydromotives work good with this hull. It just so happens I have some to get rid of
