Old Race boat for sale.
I came across this boat for sale, They were asking $18,000 for it . I just thought it was interesting. Anyone know the history of this boat? How about it T2x , Sharkey The thread on the old Shadow Cat hull was great. How about some insight on this boat and the 33' Cougar hull.

I can't seem to make the link work, if you go to www.pinehillequipment.com click on boats for sale, it's listed there.

That's an Ocean Express/ Image, when it was last raced in Key West it flipped , Killing the driver. A kid for Peurto Rico named Peachy Perez. It was throttled by Pete "The Prince" Hidalgo. It was origanally called Motor City Magic I think. The beaks were extensions so it could run 500" motors in Open Class.

Thats for sure a old express cat but thats the standard bow 33' race deck with cut down free board's, when they put the beeks on it became a 35' too run the 500's when Bob Kehrig ran that boat as MOTOR CITY MAGIC it had 372's standard modified package! The 33' and 39' where the best hull's they built, the race 33's where alway's my favorite!

That boat sat in the Port of Canaveral for a couple of years, a resturant owner in the port was trying to sell it. It ran a few times in the ICW, but that's about all i know about it . The beaks were added to make it long enough to run the next class up in Offshore, like Ryan and V1 said.
