I used it as one word with one "L" Gelcoat. now Machines Magnum hands down, they bought out and Own Venus which was my base system ,the Yamaha people in those days had 650 machines on the floor in the boat plant. Gelcoat I do not care what anybody says Internal Mix Period.

This was interesting reading. What ever happened to the money man and his brother? What a shame that it never happened.

Thad Allen treated me very good and I have nothing but respect for the Allens.

He is around doing whatever he does, like CEO of a dozen companies.

From myself and my family we wish him the best.

Dave here the Hull for the 33 fishing boat is being laid up we used the raceboat fixture and added a inch of material to it creating the plug for this but the pads are straight so I had our glass shop place 4 pieces of mirror on the plug and spent a lot of time on the corners making them sharp, this needed 3 strips of surface veil in the the corners so it could be skinned out without any air inclusions.they are doing that now.

in the lower right you see my vacuum channels they were large for the "Quick Bag" and I used burlap for breather which we got in huge bales cheap.

gotta love that. Right now my shop is about half and half for epoxy jobs to ester jobs. I did a huge re core on about 18 or 20 feet of a 36 Skater sponson, I cannot imagine doing a job like that in anything but epoxy.

That loft is cool, still got any of those?
