I wonder where all the performance boats went? In the early 2000's boat builders couldn't build them fast enough. I'd see lots of boats at all the hot spots In my local waters. Not anymore, now I'll see just a few on any given weekend.

They have moved to CC's / pontoons or out of the sport all together.

There has been very few mild power performance V's made since 09/10 so even if you do want to get one its going to be old, need work and almost impossible to get any type of reasonable financing.
Just look at the ads on this site how many 100-130 K boats have been for sale a LONG time.

I'm an example, I moved on from performance to a dual console. Fits my lifestyle much better.

Me too. I went to a performance center console, to a regular center console. I wanted shade and a self bailing boat, wife wanted a decent head, and now we can actually bring guests.

I am looking for a small fast second boat. After owning a few OB boats, I don't think I will be owning an I/O again.

Pretty sure I'm on my final I/O boat. Just finishing up a 6 month motors-out project and I don't think I have it in me to do it again down the road. I'll probably list it for sale once it's running again.

I’ll always have an offshore boat as long as im
able to go boating. I may buy a pontoon to cruise the lake down the road or a smaller CC to putt around, but the hot rod will
always be back in The garage ready to go for a blast!
And been Checkin in here basically daily since 98 when OSO was just a for sale bulletin board. and I don’t see me not Checkin in here ever. As long as oso is here, I’ll be around lol

I took a 6-7 year hiatus due to my career taking off and eating up all my free time. Life has slowed down so I picked up a Dominator SSR and logged back in to see OSO went dead. Seems like the place has turned into Center Consoles Only.
