Zero Cavity will be there with the Florida Powerboat Club.
Also I will be doing the charity rides and I will be one of the pace boats.

I wish I could attend the APBA/Marathon race but Ft.Myers is my home town race. I live in Naples and I know the organizers and volunteers so I have to be here regardles if it is APBA or SBI.
All the racers in APBA that I had a chance to talk recently understant and support my decision.

OFF SHORE POWER BOAT RACES
The Off Shore Power Boat Races will be on Fort Myers Beach May 16-19. The Parade will begin at 7pm on Thurday night. (The Matanzas Pass Sky Bridge will be closing at 6:30pm). In addition to the races (starting at 11am on both Saturday and Sunday) the Air Show will also take place on Saturday and Sunday. It is sure to be a fast paced and exciting weekend!

Last yr. Hooters held a bikini contest...haven't heard if they are doing one this yr.
The dry pits is where all of the boating action was at night... I remember how to get there...but, I don't remember the exact names of the hwy...was that 41????

T2x~ I went to add the televised date to the OSO calendar...and I clicked on the Skater Fest area...whoever put that website together, did a really good job!! It's cool to be able to put a face to a name...there were a couple of OSO members on there! I see you were all wearing your jackets...btw...the raindate for the Skater Fest is the following wknd. on the 25th!!!
