Have you ever just....
perused the mega yacht listing on yachtworld.com?
I started at the biggest and began to work my way down...Only got to about page 40 (which was in the high 100m range). You can actually buy a cruise liner!! And for like 15mil! That doesn't seem that bad...But this one kind've stood out...Sure would piss Roman Abramovich off!

No one who legally works for their money would ever build something like that! In FL/Bahamas the cruising gets really limited after a couple hundred feet due to the draft those "ships" require.

If memory serves me right, annual operating cost varies from 10-20% of value depending on usage. Thats $45,000,000.00 to $90,000,000.00 a year just to keep her floating and full of crew and supplies
