Beautiful Day on the Potomac!!
WOW WOW WOW!
I finally got to splash today. CheckmateF1, I wish you could have come with.
OutlawMark and Skater, it was great to catch up with you and the ladies.
Offshore Score and Offshore Final Score, (John & Audra), it was great to meet you. You have an absolutly beautiful and flawless boat. (1999 Sonic 45ss) It sounded mean as you left Leesylvania.
Today was the first day we pulled with the 2500 Avalanche. It towed awesome, but really takes some getting used to, especially backing with very limited visibility.
3 minor casualties:
Small electrical problem to sort out with running lights. SHOOT!
Depth Finder went out. DAMN!
Dinged up my freshly York Labbed prop. SON OF A MOTHER FUDPUCKER!

Eric's doing okay with the Check! Had to make some changes to the oil system plumbing and can't get more fittings til Monday. I hope to get wet next Sunday!
Glad to hear you had a good day Brian. What's up with the depth finder? Completely out or not reading right?
MXZ, why didn't you go out today?
I wish I was there!

Hey Sydwayz23,
Were you at Fairview about 4:00 yesterday? I saw a a 26 Sonic. I saw Beak Boater in his Fountain. I took a ride to Colonial Beach to see the marina that burned. What a mess. Then I went to Fairview and hung out for a while. There was somebody there in a Velocity. I don't know who it was.

Dave,
It was not me. I stayed within a few miles of Leesylvania State Park.
The depth finder clicked on when I turned on the ignition on the trailer. It was out when I fired at the ramp, and worked for about 30 seconds as I left the breakwater, and never came back. I want to replace the guage unit with a nice 3 inch unit, rather than the current 2 inch in a 3 inch hole with a goofy filler.
More than likely I dinged, up the prop leaving Mattawoman Creek. Whenever I left or came into Leesylvania, I had the tabs all the way down, and drive up. I did not hit anything visible in the water.
I cannot wait to go back nect weekend. I picked up about 300 rpm with the York labbed prop. I have not GPS'd yet, but I t may be 2 or 3 mph.

I missed a great day out there!
Sydwayz23,
Sounds like you had a good time! Sorry I couldn’t make it out there…I wasted a beautiful day recovering at my friend’s house from Saturday night boozing. Got back home late yesterday evening and got your message about heading out to splash.
Sorry to hear about the prop…were there still pieces of wood floating around past the breakwater yesterday? I hit one last weekend while I was out.
I’m definitely heading out next weekend…I won’t ever waste another precious boating day like I did yesterday…I need to plan my boozing accordingly from now on
