When I first read the article in this morning's (Rochester, NY) paper, I was hoping it wasn't anybody I knew. My thoughts and prayers are with his family - and I'm sure I speak for all of the Rochester Offshore Powerboat Association when I say that.

God Bless him and his family. And yet another example of why everyone must wear their safety equipment, no matter how experienced or careful we are. Please wear your lifejackets!

Absolutely tragic.
Saw this on Rochester YNN and couldn't believe it.
Doesn't make any sense....one of the articles references hard turns at high rates of speed. Makes me wonder if there were mechanical issues, or something...just doesn't add up.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families.
Sad day for sure.
