Hollywood will be a letdown...its not all its cracked up to be.... No idea what the 'in' place is these days, but you used to be able to spot a few of the celebrity types after the bend between the old tower records and beverly hills on sunset. thats where you will find the whiskey, roxy and rainbow.

Back in San Diego, another food recomendation is Claim Jumpers, several of them around town, if you like food get the oar cart.

You will fully understand where I'm coming from when you get back to SD. Personally I don't like going east of the 5 and north of the 8...
