Nice stuff Thunderous!
The 1200's I have available are 600 cubic inches. The owner recently invested $92K. They are available at a fraction of that cost and the new owner can transfer the warranty.

They are Merc supercat engines that had 8.1 pistons put in them and 5 liter wipples put on. They put out more that 1000HP. I would turn them down to 900 and run them on 93 octane and put a smaller cam in. They have 2 seasons on them and the Obergs are clean. They do not have a lot of low end torque but have a wide power band at the top. I would not put them in a big heavy v bottom. They would be awesome in a small cat like a 36 or 388 skater.

I've got two 632 inch dry sump 950's with Bam trannies and dry sixes. Gotta go . . . . . complete installations, still in boat.

It is with 510 inches of motor. Whcih will also not last a season at that kind of RPM. Remember ours are built on 598ci platforms. They are overbuilt.....produce gobs off power everywhere in the rpm band and you dont have to wind them much past 5500 rpm to get there. Thats why you have 300 trouble free hours on your motors. If someone buys those motors...goes through them... you still have a jacked up combination of miss matched parts. You could buy mine and be boating for years to come.
Don't forget I have your poker run dvd over here at the shop. Stop by when you are in the neighborhood or I can buy lunch one day this week.
