43 Nortech vs. 46 Cig. RR
They are about the same price used, about the same speed with like power, the NT is really bigger, the cabin in the NT nicer so is the RR a better ride in big water or are you paying for the name?

Whats your price range?? The cabin in an Outerlimits is nicer in my opinion and is faster. Say a nice 42 with 700s? If you really care about the cabin id go NT over the Cig but if your stuck between those two and more performance based I would probably go with the 46 Cig.

I don't belong answering this, but I do dream about having either so the reasons I think are simple.
The Nortech is more plush and futuristic styling, very nice for island hopping or traveling. I would say this and no disrespect, the more amenities the more things to break if and when you want to run hard out in the ocean or great lakes on a crappy day.
My view of the Cigarette - minimal stuff to break, get loose and rattle - more rugged just looking at it, certainly not luxury driven, a very classic functional looking boat that I think like the old Cigarette ads deplict you take it out and beat the snot out of it, it's not a weekender type of boat.
I have kids and a wife when hey humor me and look over my shoulder at what I'm wasting my time looking at they would say "Get Nortech" ourt of those two but I silently say Cigarette.
ps I think the OL does afford some degree of both of these boats and not meant in a bad way but the OL does seem to comprimise somehwere in the middle?
You pull up to a dock with a Cigarette you are pulling up with an Icon.
I have a couple older Ferrari's, you pull up to the casinos in NJ with a new shinny 2011 turbo Porsche or an older red Ferrari which car do people talk about? I think the Cigarette and Nortech are the same relation as the two cars, both great in different ways but what reaction do you want?

Nortech - Cigarette
Both great boats.
The best thing to do, "Drive Each One". The Nortech is alot bigger boat inside than the Cig and both will run well. I doubt either will fall apart.

Quick question - Do they have a genset and A/C?? Can you run them while on plane.... ?????
The 43 NT we had was not able to run the genset while on plane due to the steps and inducing air into the water pick up on the genset... therefore everytime you stopped somewhere someone had to go to the cabin - fire up the genset - turn on the A/C and wait for it to cool down.... Personally I didn't give a chit.... but the gals didn't like to wait....
