Question prop cover??

Looking for a place to buy a prop cover. I'm getting a labbed prop and want to cover the prop when not in the water and when anchored.

Overton's has one on sale. It is called Prop Gear, and is a heavy mesh, with relfective material for trailering with it on. It will not fly off, and is less than $20 bucks. I like mine.

Mercury Racing has them in their 2002 brochure.

Just bought one for my CV-23....What a deal! My stainless merCruiser prop had a WalMart bag over it for the last couple Winters. Talk about Class? You got to keep those rodents out of the exhaust...Now I feel more like a Real Hot Boat Guy. It looks like good protection for on the road and someones leg or shin....Mike.

Why not remove the props when out of the water? It takes a minute and can save a prop from being damaged or stolen.

Thanks Sydwayz! Bought one of the sale covers from Overton's. Should do the trick! I found a place that sells the neoprene Mercury Racing covers for $36, nice, but for $10 the Overton cover
is worth a shot.
