There is no getting around the fact that there are way more sellers than buyers out there. What an owner thinks his boat is worth or what he "needs to get" makes no difference. His only hope is to get the word out and price aggressively.

The owner of the boat is willing to pay anyone who helps line up a buyer. So all of you have the opportunity to be a boat broker This boat needs to move and it will make the right buyer very happy to get a very clean like new boat well under market while putting money in your pocket

If anyone offers 50K take the money and run....Boat is nice I'm sure but not really anything special being a base 292 w/350's. I'm not picking on the boat just making a point.

The boat probably should be worth 60-70k but the problem is you can get into some real nice 38's for the same money. They will be a little older but if someone wants to get as much boat as they can for the money there going to pass on the smaller ones.

While I agree with you, there are folks that come on here on a fairly regular basis looking for newer boats in this size with friendly power. Not everyone wants or needs a 38 with problem child engines.

Wholesale (trade-in) book is $62250. average retail, $72K, and high retail is $83K.
I would guess somewhere in the high 60's would be about right. Don't think you will ever see anything close to getting high retail unless it is a highly sought after boat...and I just don't think the formula like that, is.
